Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Floral Sales Team Member to join our team! As a member of our sales team, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a crucial role in guiding them through the inquiry, proposal, and booking process. You will work closely with our design team to ensure that clients’ visions are translated into stunning floral displays, offering creative input while handling administrative tasks related to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person consultations.
Proposal Development: Work with the design team to create detailed floral proposals, ensuring client needs and budgets are met.
Sales Outreach: Engage in proactive sales efforts, including lead generation, following up with inquiries, and building relationships with event planners, venues, and wedding coordinators.
Maintain CRM System: Update and manage the customer relationship management system to track client interactions, event details, and project progress.
Event Coordination: Collaborate with the design and logistics teams to ensure smooth event execution, including overseeing delivery, setup, and breakdown when needed.
Upselling and Cross-Selling: Recommend additional services or products that enhance client events, such as rentals or floral installations.
Requirements:
Experience in Sales: Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the floral, event planning, or wedding industry.
Floral Knowledge: Basic knowledge of flowers and floral design is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients and team members.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to assist team members across different departments as needed.
Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot issues on-site during event installations and manage client expectations effectively.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms is a plus.
