frequently asked questions

Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO request specific flowers like peonies or dahlias?

A: You’ll have the option to indicate any special requests during checkout. While we try our best to accommodate these requests, we can never guarantee specific flower varieties due to seasonality and market availability. Having flexibility in the floral selection also allows us to grab that most perfect bunch of blooms at the market with you in mind, ensuring that your flowers are fresh, seasonal, and at their peak. Please let us know if there are any colors or specific flowers that would not be acceptable substitutions.

Q: Can I customize my order?

A: We are unable to accommodate customizations for our REFINED collection at this time. If you are interested in our fully custom wedding packages, please send us an inquiry!

Q: Do you offer cake flowers?

A: We will include complimentary styling blooms with your order for you to use as cake flowers or however you like! You can expect to receive an assortment of the flowers featured in your color palette (approximately 10-15 loose stems).

Q: Can you set up my flowers for the ceremony and reception?

A: If you order an arch, our team will set it up. Other than that, we do not offer set up as part of our delivery service. Delivery is drop-off only. Be sure to communicate with your family, friends, and/or wedding staff about who will be responsible for the floral decorations on your wedding day. If you are looking for us to set up your wedding florals, our full-service packages may be more appropriate for you.

Q: I’m having the flowers delivered the day before the wedding. How can I make sure they stay fresh?

A: We will send an email providing care instructions the day before your delivery/pickup date. Generally speaking, you’ll want to keep the flowers in a cool location away from any source of heat, and make sure they have plenty of water to drink. Your bouquets will come in a vase of water. Boutonnières, corsages, and flower crowns may be kept in a fridge as long as they are away from any produce. While we do our best to package the designs carefully, some fluffing may be necessary once they are unpacked.

Q: How long will my flowers last?

A: We love to source heirloom flower varieties and use delicate and interesting textures. All of our flowers are carefully processed and treated a few days prior to your event. We then allow them open fully so that they are at their absolute peak during your event. In short, your wedding flowers are meant to look stunning for their big moment, but typically don’t last much longer beyond that.

Q: What can I do with the flowers after my wedding?

A: Many of our couples donate their wedding flowers to Petals for Hope, a non-profit that picks up leftover flowers from weddings and events, and rearranges and delivers them to those in need within our community.

Q: What MAKES WEDDING FLOWERS SO EXPENSIVE?

A: We are passionate about bringing beauty to the world through flowers, and our ultimate goal is to create a sustainable business that combines profit, passions, and purpose. We believe that paying our team well translates to the best customer experience possible and that everyone deserves to be paid a living wage. We also believe in sourcing the most beautiful and bespoke flowers. From the curator of seeds to the flower farmer to the wholesaler, each step in the flower life-cycle is labor intensive and time is of the essence! Even "foraging" from our farm involves a team, ladders, and protection from poison ivy and more time than you would think. All of this is reflected in our pricing. We feel strongly that it's a worthwhile investment if flowers are important to you.
